I'm an illustrator. I have received interest-oriented art training since I was a child, and learned traditional Chinese ink painting in my childhood, which has had a profound impact on me. I always have a preference for paints that mix with water and paints that can be smudged, such as watercolors, traditional Chinese paints and pastels. I specialize in both traditional painting and digital painting. For traditional painting, I tend to use mixed materials in the same painting, such as using gouache, watercolor, colored pencils, etc. at the same time. After finishing the physical painting, I will scan them into pictures and use painting software for further processing. Even when painting digitally, I am interested in using pixels to simulate different material textures, trying to create a balance between traditional painting and digital painting.
